So good morning People.
It’s match day, I really do hope y’all slept well.
I trust some of you were already seeing Barcelona in your dreams??.lol
Just calm down mehn, you don’t have to wait too long to see them in real life, just some few hours left till kick off at 8.45pm so take a chill pill and relax ‘cos that game is going to be superb.
While some of y’all are already looking forward to tonight, some scared about the worst that could happen to us, some others already conceded to defeat, some other just can’t wait for the game to start, out of excitement that is.
Me, I am just here hoping I don’t have a crazy day at work today, in that way I am not too tired after work and sleep when I get home.
Who am I even kidding??
I mean, what would make me miss the game we have all been waiting for, I say we ‘cos you can’t even deny that this fixture has been in your head since December when the draws were done.
Barcelona popped in your head after every game we played, regardless of the result.
And now, the Barcelona we all have been waiting for are here already.
As you read this now, the Barcelona players are probably training in the Emirates, spraying their juju on every angle of the pitch.
Let’s just hope that juju doesn’t work, if not we can as well say we are doomed.
The whole world has turned to Barcelona experts, giving Wenger ways to beat Barca.
Some say playing with ‘the press’ would foil their game plan, some others say playing on the counter is the best way to beat them.
I just hope Wenger is not reading all these tabloids ‘cos they could as well just mess with his head.
Well that’s one way of looking at it.
From another angle, he could see what the tabloids said, follow them and we could come out smiling.
All I know is that, whatever happens, we have to come out of this game smiling.
Enough of the losing in the first leg and having it all to play for in the second leg, enough of leaking goals in the first leg and playing the second legs like our lives depended on it, well looking at it now, our lives actually depended on it.
Enough of #MiracleInParis, #MiracleInMunich.
We get it all right tonight and there won’t need to be a #MiracleInBarcelona
Barcelona haven’t won us at the Emirates before, let’s see how that pans out for us tonight.
The boss, the players, the board, every one has been talking about this game.
Now it’s time to put all those words into action, on the pitch.
Everyone has to play their parts, from Cech to Giroud or Welbeck as the case may be.
I know you’ll expect me to drop my own ”Ways to beat Barcelona” tutorials but no, all I’d say is #Believe.
Believe in the team, Believe in the manager, whatever goes wrong.
So am done.
You can now go back to watching the game before the game, in your head.
See you after the game.
