The 20-year-old Frenchman has been immense for Arsenal this season. With two assists in nine games and, single-handedly spearheading Arsenal’s comeback against Aston Villa, Gooners cannot but sing his praises.
Matteo Guendouzi has become many things at Arsenal: midfielder, baby brother to David Luiz, game-changer, and now, transfer specialist.
People say that Guendouzi had a role to play in William Saliba’s decision to sign for Arsenal. If that’s true, then, he’s at it again. This time, it’s with Upamecano.

These pictures have caused a Gooner-tweeting frenzy, with many salivating at transfer prospects for the next summer window.
Agent Guendouzi back again for another CB? Tapping up Saliba wasn’t enough for him

Matteo Guendouzi was away with France’s under-21’s as was Upamecano. The French under-21 team routed the Azerbaijani team 5-0 with goals from Edouard, Zagadou, Aouar and Nordin.
Here’s a reminder of why we want the giant:
We can remember that Arsenal went in for the centre-back Upamecano last summer. His club Red Bull Leipzig turned down offers of as much as £53m. Rumours have it, however, that we’ll be going back for him in the summer. If that’s true, our defensive woes could be over with the quartet of Bellerin, Holding, Saliba and Tierney.
