First off, it needs to be said, Heaton was on top form today so much so that Wojciech gave him an ovation at his end of the pitch.
The Burnley defence was resilient, they defended with their lives I tellz ya. Again, Heaton, Heaton and more Heaton. Without him between the sticks, it could have been six goals. That’s the truth.
The most prominent save was Podolski’s shot fro the right side of the penalty box, that save was class. And although we slipped a time or two at the back, Arsenal were quite good at the back, a’la Calum Chambers to the rescue after Mert was well beaten.
By the way, Calum was another class act after Sanchez’s un-human performance. He bagged an assist and a goal, something he’ll treasure for years to come. His nicking off the the ball from the goal line in our own half also let us keep a clean sheet. If not for Sanchez and Heaton’s supernatural saves, he’d be my man of the match without much thought.
Here’s a bunch of free Calum Chamber wallpapers done by @arsenaloFka on LadyArse for your Facebook pages, Twitter pages and desktops.
