Matchday : Back To The Top?

Hey there, it’s Sunday today and it’s matchday.
whoop whoop.
Match day always brings me joy ‘cos then I get to see the boys play.
After laying on bed all day yesterday watching all the major games played thanks to firstrowsports.eu, from watching Sunderland be Sunderland, losing their lead in under 2 minutes and going on to lose 4-1 to watching Chelsea grab a hard earned point in their fight to stay up this season to watching Mahrez lose a penalty and costing his team 2 points in the process.
Filled day it was yeah?? seems to me like 3-3 is fast becoming the target these days, and it’s only more complete with a 98th minute equaliser from a defender who was offside at the time and had early scored an own goal in a game that should already have ended in the 97th minute.
Not like it’s any of my business though.
All I care about now is seeing how our boys fare today and to be honest, I really hope we don’t get as much drama as was seen yesterday.
We play the almighty Stoke at the Britannia and boy haven’t we had a hard time leaving there with the 3 points in a while.
That sure has to be the goal today, especially as City devoured Crystal Palace yesterday and Leicester managed to grab a point against a Villa side that….. let me just stop there.
The Stoke guys have already started with boasts and all about how they would beat us and put a dent in our title aspirations and bla bla bla.
I really can’t just wait for them to get whooped today in their own home.
Back then we used to be sacred of them ‘cos of how bullish they went about football but now, thanks to Mark Hughes and his army which is being led by Ibrahimovic Arnautovic and Shaqiri, they don a different more beautiful way of playing football and that there is their new threat.
Good for us, Shaqiri might be out for this one. Leaves us with one less threat.
Thankfully, in all our injury-ness, we have found a way to remain us and grab vital points.
With Sanchez and Rosicky back we have even more threat going forward.
Stoke should be really really scared cos they would get hurt real bad.
Oh, lets not even forget ‘now watch me whip, now watch El Neny…
The new man also traveled with the team to Stoke and I can’t wait to see him get some action.
The joy of watching your new signing get his first taste of football in the red and white or whatever colour we might play in today.
Wenger was talking about having to decide if he should play Sanchez or nah, imo he should just let the other guys do the job and save Sanchez for Chelsea.
I think we’ll need him more then.
