*??????????*
Now watch me whip, now watch Elneny,
Now watch me whip whip, now watch Elneny…
*??????????*
How much I would love to hear those lines ring through the Emirates when we play Chelsea at the weekend.
I wonder how long we would have to wait till we see our new man in action.
Like…
How long does it take you to wear that new shoe after you buy it?? Not long yeah??
Same here, I almost always wear it that week after I get it.
But that’s a shoe yeah?? Elneny is human and can’t be compared.
Yes, I know I know.
Okay, Wenger said he was gonna treat Elneny like he did with Pires and allow him watch and see how tough and hostile the premier league could be before throwing in after some games when he thinks the Egyptian would be ready.
Left to me, he is ready.
What better game would you need to figure out how hostile, tough, rough and somehow the premier league could be than Stoke.
I am pretty sure Elneny must have caught the jitters and probably cried for his mum when he sat on the bench at Stoke.
Where do I start with that, the stupid and insensitive chants that were directed towards Ramsey or how the Stoke players tried to bully us off the ball for most of the game.
All I am saying is that out Egyptian newbie has seen all the tutorial he needs and is ready for match action come the weekend when we face Chelsea.
Elneny has trained with the team for some time now, if I have my facts straight, he might have been training with the team even before he was officially announced.
Good thing is he has had time to learn the Arsenal way and training with the team has helped that a lot, I really hope he skipped the injury classes though.
Sources say he could strike a good shot too and the few videos I have watched about him prove that too, he better not stop shooting.
We may not have seen him play before but the players have started talking about him and it’s only a matter of time till we get to see him play too.
-“I’ve trained with him and he’s a good player, very talented but first of all he is a good guy – I think he will settle well into the team,” Giroud told Arsenal Player.
“It always takes time to adapt to English football because there is a lot of intensity, it is very physical and even tactically [you must get used to it] – but I think Premier League football will suit him well.”
I really just can’t wait to see him play, that’s all.
And even if we have to wait till against Burnley on the 30th, I am prepared to.
I just hope we don’t have to wait that long tho.
So while we wait, why don’t we all practice the Elneny chant.
We don’t want to mess it up when we finally get the chance to sing it do we??
I doubt.
Well, I know I am not the coach and my opinion might count for nothing on this matter but then who knows, Wenger might just stumble on this and follow my advice.
At least I know he has once or twice and those times, my advice paid off.
Till then. *fingers crossed*
Au revoir.
