So I have good news for us.
Wait for it.
Arrgghhh, scratch that. You prolly would have heard by now.
I’d still tell y’all tho, Welbeck is back!!!!
Or should I just say, Welbeck is coming back seeing as he isn’t with the first team yet.
Anyways, after a long lay off, Danny boy is back in the setting and tbh I can’t wait for him to get back into the team.
So he made a comeback on Friday, albeit for the U21’s against Brighton and was able to get some 60 minutes under his belt.
For some reasons tho, even tho the team won 4-1 he couldn’t get a goal to his name.
Steve Gatting was full of praise for Danny after the English forward made his return after 10 months out.
He said “Danny has been great for us,” he told Arsenal Player. “We are pleased he got through his 60 minutes and had an effect and again it is a senior player who has come down to us and played a part.
“All the senior players that have come down like Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky have been fantastic. They have a lot of experience and we are better for it.”
In this period when we are fighting to win the league, we need every bullet that we can get our hands on and having Danny back is going to be a huge boost for us.
We just have to take a chill pill with him and ease him back into the team slowly, hoping that his return from injury would prove a vital addition to the squad in this chase for that trophy.
Welcome back Danny, you better not pull a Rosicky on us.
Stay fit Danny.
That’s one more player we have fit, over to you Jack Wilshere.
