Another lacklustre performance…
Apart from Sanchez that is.
There’s hard-work, passion and hunger in his game…if only the whole team was that way, we’d be bloody deadly. I say this because we’ve got the talent, at least 50%. I mean, a team with Sanchez, Welbeck, Rambo, Campbell, Walcott, Carzola and Ozil? C’mon! Dortmund would give anything to be us right now.
Sanchez was the saviour of today as this Gunner said:
Sanchez is our best goal scorer. Hardest worker. Best dribbler. Best creator. Other than that I’m not sure why we bought him

Sanchez was everywhere, he tracked back, he played like his life depended on it and my prayer is that he doesn’t catch the complacency bug which seems to have caught the rest of the team.
Welbeck who usually puts in a decent amount of work today was quite average and Chamberlain was awful. We’re riddled with injuries now that we’ve lost Gibbs, it’s just sad…
I really hope Wenger does something about our defense in January and that Giroud and Theo back in the squad would bring some fire, or else, that 4th place trophy WILL elude us.
I don’t know what it is with the team though, aren’t they motivated enough? Is it the training? Is it the tactics? 🙁
The excuse before was that we didn’t have enough money to buy world class players, now we have two of them in Ozil and Sanchez surrounded by very good players and yet…
The new excuse it that our German players are World Cup tired, that’s bollox. Are Muller, Hummels, Gotze and Lahm not from the same team? Didn’t they feature in the World Cup more than our own German players? And the British core as well, and the Spaniards? Would you use that same excuse?
I said before that this season was going to see positive realism from me, so, while I’m happy we have our 3 points, I’m not wowed by the performance of the team apart from Sanchez’s.
What do you think is our problem?
