Hello fellow Champions!
Still chuffed to bits about that win. 4-0 in the final against a villa team who ousted LoLerpool to get there. Just awesome I tell you.
We were simply unstoppable, easily wanted it more than they did, had more chances than they did that’s if they had any at all, and unlike many occasions in football nowadays we could easily say that the best team on the day won.
You could see it in every move, every pass, every player, well except for Szczesny who was trying too hard to get involved in the game. We wanted this win so so bad.
We started out well, passing well, controlling the game real good but it looked like the goal was not going to come as we missed chance after chance.
Villa looked like a team that were taken aback by the atmosphere, the fans, the stadium and even the Arsenal players themselves who were their supposed rivals for the day.
Save for their goalie and Jores Okore who was all over our attackers, it’s fair to say they never turned up.
Just before half time though, Walcott showed why he had been picked ahead of Giroud to start thi one and stepped up and thundered in the ball with his left foot. What a week it has been for the lad, scoring a hattrick on Sunday and now the opener in the Fa cup final.
Walcott tormented their defence with his pace, Cazorla coordinated, Ozil dazzled, Coquelin bossed, the defence locked up, Sanchez was everywhere, in fact the whole team were on a high and it was only a matter of time before we would add another.
Who else would have been better to add that second goal than Sanchez, his goal can only be described with one word, BEAUTY!!! It was a pure beauty that strike.
We were not definitely not going to stop there and Mertesacker scored on of the easiest goal of his life, picking that cross from the corner after losing Benteke his marker and heading the ball easily into the goal for our third of the game.
We kept on dominating…
And then our poster boy came on, Olivier Giroud, donning that new hairstyle for the FA Cup that took him hours to prepare.
Not long after his entrance, the fourth goal went in as he pulled off one of his trademark flicks from nearpost.
4-0 the final scores and I have to say I am disappointed Villa did not put in as much of a fight as we would all have expected from them.
Kroenke, Gazidis, Keswick, they were all present and we could just see the delight on their faces at the football they had all witnessed on the day.
A season that started with a 3-0 win against Manhester City in the community shield, has ended with a 4-0 win against Aston Villa to hand us the FA Cup for the second year consecutively.
With that, we scored 12 goals against Villa this season to give us our record 12th FA Cup title.
Wenger himself can be given a certificate for FA Cup management himself, after masterminding his 6th trophy in as many years.
Once again, congratulations people…
CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!
