The team were outstanding yesterday.
See, in my part of the world, electricity’s like an unfaithful girlfriend who’s never there when you need her yet, your’e forced to give her expensive gifts every month even though you hardly ever see her and she’s cheating.
So, taking solace in technology, I decided to ‘watch’ the match via ‘Twitter – the most horrible place to watch a game.
We were one goal up, fantastic! Mesut Ozil had scored the goal, double fantabulous. Shortly after a Vine upload of Bacary’s ambitious lob which nearly got in, power was restored and I ran downstairs to switch on the decoder (Digital Satellite TV).
It took about 1 million years to load/boot. I counted the windows in the house, the number of chairs in the living room, all the light bulbs…you get the picture. When the decoder finally sorted itself out, I tuned in to Super Sport, and then I saw the scores.
Arsenal 1-1 Everton.
Lukaku had scored on the counter.
I was scared shit-less. You know that point in a game were you ask yourself why you have to go through this emotional bullshittery for a team you love with every cell in your body?
Yeah, that’s where I was. And then the power went out again.
Back to Twitter.
And that’s where I stayed till the end of the match. Slamming my phone on the bed when Arteta had to retake the penalty, doing the twist when Giroud scored twice…people around thinking I had lost it; they’ll never understand, would they?
Gunners are especially happy for Mesut Ozil; seems like he’s getting his groove back like Bacary Sagna did after his broken leg incident. Bacary Sagna was another outstanding player alongside Giroud and Alex Oxlade.
Many were happy for Giroud seeing that he’s putting on a comeback after the issue he’s had with club and wife…
Lmao @TheRealEbouee:It is perfectly ok now for #giroud to hav a threesome.Just keep scoring goals for #Arsenal .We will bring you more girls

The team ticked all the boxes as per Michael Gooner:
Arsenal: In Semi’s ☑ 4 Goals ☑ Özil Goal & Assist ☑ Arteta Coolness ☑ Playboy Double ☑ Ox Brilliant ☑ Wembley Bound ☑ #ArsenalPositives

I believe we are riding on a good momentum, with Ramsey back soon, Koscielny fit to play, Ozil’s confidence returning, and Flamini not breaking anyone’s legs, I think we’ll be good for the money. Plus, Giroud seems to make a super-sub these days, see our game today and the game against Sunderland; see?
The only team I see posing a threat would be Manchester City, still, upsets happen; it happened to them when they played Wigan who everyone expected them to beat.
Can Arsenal go all the way to win the FA Cup? Our first proper silverware in a long, long time? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

Update:
Manchester City are out of the FA Cup, Arsenal have to go at this with everything they’ve got. No complacency; Wigan beating City should make them realise this. COYG!
