For every time I go to the movies, picking a movie to watch always has to start from action, comedy, suspense and like that. For some other people, they prefer suspense above any other kinda movies.
I wanna put it to you tho that suspense doesn’t look good in real life. I bet most of the suspense-movie lovers would love if their lives could do with a little less suspense than they experience on a daily basis.
This is for the simple reason that, suspense doesn’t look good in real life.
If there is one human who likes that little period between what might happen and what actually happens, its our very own coach Arsene Wenger.
One could easily call him a Professor in suspense, if there is anything like that.
You wonder why I am talking about suspense today yh??
Well its simple, it all balls down to our transfers and more streamlined to Benzema.
Like everyone in the world knows we would love to have Benzema, that Wenger is a personal admirer of Benzema, that he would jump at the opportunity to sign Benzema right not, well everyone but Wenger himself.
Last time he was asked if we were in for Benzema, he simply just said ‘ I haven’t said anything about Karim so I wonder why you are asking me about him’ or something that has the same meaning with what I just said sha.
Watching Wengers’ pressers during transfer windows can be very frustrating and annoying. He says everything and says nothing.
Like the popular saying goes ‘’silence cannot be misquoted’ and Wenger is sure a master at that.
Denies interest in a player and next thing we are signing him or not.
Atleast over the years he always said ‘’we are not interested in signing him’’ but this his new ‘’ I haven’t spoken about this player’’ style just gets on my nerves.
How hard can it be to say ‘’We really want to sign Karim but madrid haven’t given us the go ahead yet’’ or ‘’we would love to make Karim part of this team but can we do a deal soon? I doubt’’ or something, anything that just shows we have interest in the player.
But no, he gives that ‘’I don’t know what you are talking about’’ thing which in turn has an adverse effect on we the fans.
How??? Because it just gives us a tinge of hope that the Benzema deal could just happen anytime and when we see those ‘’Arsenal agree deal with madrid’’ headlines, we all go ‘yes,its happening soon’.
Tbh, I am tired of these rumours just like I grew tired of the Cech stories too. Looking on the bright side tho, Cech happened.
All am saying is this, in his next presser Wenger should drop all those ‘’if a special talent becomes available we would sign him’’ bants and adopt a more ‘’we love this player and we want to sign him’’ or ‘’ we are not signing any player again’’ approach.
