In this week’s team of the week, some new faces popped up and we saw the defeat of the undefeated Chelsea…do I hear a snicker? For what it’s worth, I think they’ll win the league though.
In goal, Hugo Lloris kept a clean sheet as the lot down the road drew with Crystal Palace.
In defence, Alan Hutton scored the winning goal for Aston Villa as they overcame Leicester City by two goals to one. New faces, aye?
We also had Demichelis working tirelessly in defence to keep Manchester City’s one nil win against Everton in tact. Richard Dunne was solid in defence as QPR climbed out of relegation with a win; Gael Glichy features yet again this week as he joined Demichelis in securing City’s win against Everton.
In midfield, Raheem Sterling looked dangerous for Liverpool even as he had a penalty decision turned down. Yaya ‘the’ Toure scored City’s only goal against Everton from a spot kick; right on target he was.
Our very own Ramsey despite our shambles performance against the Stooges of Stoke, looked dangerous in the second half for the Arsenal and scored a goal. And then, there was Bojan, who was, well, fantastic against us.
Who-woulda-thunk! Andy Caroll? In team of the week? With two goals and an assist? Where’s Liverpool? Buy him back for 50m quid please!
And I bring to you, the man who ended Chelsea’s unbeaten run, the man who single handedly crushed Chelsea, the man who…
Okay, that’s enough now.
Cisse was brilliant. The end.
