Good morning from Calgary…
I’m still getting used to being in the morning while you all seem to have moved on with life. * Sigh*
News has reached us that former Arsenal player Marc Bola has signed a one-year deal with Blackpool after we released him this summer. The left-back player went on loan last season to Bristol Rovers. The British player of Nigerian descent (now you understand our interest in this) never really did shine for the club and featured zero times at senior level.
I hope Per revamps our youth scouting network and we can bring out some gems in the coming years like Reiss, Maitland Niles and Nketiah.
Moving on, Arseblog picked up the news that Ivan the Terrible, was on his way to becoming the new Managing Director for AC Milan…
Mafia money.
Read his post’s quote:
The Italian giants are enduring something of a financial crisis, excluded from next season’s Europa League having fallen foul of Financial Fair Play rules, and the Chinese owner has lost control of the club to a US based hedge fund called Elliot Management.
Clearly a restructuring is on the cards, and it’s been mooted that Gazidis, who has been at Arsenal since 2009 in the role of chief executive, is on the list of candidates to restore the club to its former glory.
However, Arseblog News has been told by an Arsenal spokesperson that they have no knowledge of any potential deal, and it would be a big shock if the 53 year old were to jump ship at this point.
I do agree with Blogs (Arseblog) that leaving at this time when we have OUR restructuring, albeit of management, would most definitely be odd. Let’s hope Ivan is kind enough not to leave us in the lurch. Because if he does, that leaves us with Josh Kroenke.
Let that sink in.
Josh.
No. just, no.
