Mirror reports Arsenal are supposedly in the race for Gundogen who’s about 36m quid. I doubt it though as I want to believe Wenger WILL (emphasis mine) go after a CB and a DM. We’re always linked to every player on planet earth anyways…
*Aside* Went on quite an adventure yesterday on my way home from work. On my way to the bus-stop, I bumped into a bunch of naked homo sapiens having a bath by a burst drainage pipe #emotionallyscarredforlife! I was like ‘no way!’ what on earth…! Like that was not enough to add to the political tension in the country.
Just imagine, headlines, accusations and counter-accusations, political propaganda and…naked men bathing by a burst pipe on a pretty major road. I digress.
Anyway, back to the matter…
The Mirror reports that Barca are on the prowl again and are looking to steal Manuel Pellegrini from Manchester City. Considering that they’ve not done particularly well (according to their standards), they’re looking for someone who can turn things around. I guess they’re used to winning. *snicker*
The Daily Trust reveals that Dea Gea’s wages have been doubled to keep him at Old Trafford…wow, so much money for such a young lad, any plans taking the Away fans to a really posh pub?
According to the Express, Garry Monk seems to have told City they’re ‘buying’ their way to the title as they hope to get Manchester City to splurge 30m quid on Wilfred Bony. Are City really buying the title? *Cough*
Lionel Messi apparently doesn’t want to move to Chelsea. Yes, he didn’t say that exactly but, when you place an asking price of £500m on ye head, what else are you saying? And then Jose Mourinho’s been spanked by the FA for having verbal diarrhea in the press.
