A few days ago, I learned it’s not proper to have watermelon with other fruit because it gives you indigestion. And here I was wondering why my tummy went all rumbley after my cocktail of fruits in the mornings…*sigh*
Speaking of indigestion and tummy troubles, The Daily Star reports that Van Gaal aka LVG feels their EPL campaign’s in squeaky bum time as they ‘attempt’ to win the title. I’d say it’s coming a little too late, as there’s Southampton and Manchester City to contend with as well as Arsenal and, I can’t believe I’m saying this, Sp*ds to contend with.
Maybe next year.
Express reports that West Brom have sounded out a warning to all potential suitors of Saido Berahino to get ready to spend a fortune if they plan to land his star player. The slapped price on the winger is said to be in the region of £25m plus add ons. Personally, I think he’s a good player but I don’t think he’s worth that much and I hope he’s not going to be another Ashley Young.
[alert style=”2″]De Gea’s agent isn’t ruling out a move to Real Madrid according to Daily Mail. Here’s one thing I know though, agents are at par or even worse than extortionist ticket sellers. News sometime ago had it that Manchester United were offering Dea Gea more money, almost double his going wages to keep him at Old Trafford, seems the agents wants to milk the situation…leech.[/alert]
The Sun says the Ch*vs are eyeing Cuadrado as well as Douglas Costa of Shaktar Donetsk. Seems like Chelsea’s after every midfielder at the moment, couldn’t be bothered at this point really.
Seems Brendan Rodgers isn’t averse to the bust up in the tunnel between Diego Costa and Henderson. Brendan seems to think it shows leadership qualities. Or so reports the Mirror.
And then QPR doesn’t seem to know what to do with themselves. Mirror explains that they want to get Alexandre Pato to help save them from relegation. The question is – Will he come, and will he take the risk of playing in the Championship? – I don’t think so. QPR should be doing better than they are with the players at their disposal but goodness knows what the matter is.
