Best Odds: Fulham v Arsenal
Arsenal are 1.75 with bet365 to win their London derby game against Fulham at Craven Cottage, despite the fact that they have a poor record against Martin Jol’s men.
The stats reveal that the home side are unbeaten in their last four Premier League meetings with the Gunners – drawing three and winning one.
Arsene Wenger’s side has also won just one of their last four trips to Craven Cottage in the league, but their current form suggests that they will come out on top on this occasion.
They go into the game having lost just one of their last 11 matches in the top flight (W8, D2), a run which has seen them climb into third place in the table.
They have also conceded only six goals in nine league games since the beginning of February, keeping four clean sheets during the run, and that suggests they are worthy odds-on shots against a side who have not won any of their last three games (L2, D1).
In the first goalscorer market Olivier Giroud looks a worthy favourite at a standout 7 with Coral, but those looking for a lively outsider could do far worse than have a small each-way wager on Mikel Arteta at 15 with Sky Bet.
He has he has scored more from the spot than any other player this season (five from six), and given that there has been a red card given in both of the last two league meetings between the pair at Craven Cottage it would be no great surprise to see a penalty awarded in what promises to be a real hard fought affair.
in the correct score market, I like the look of a 2-1 win for Arsenal at odds of 9.5 with Stan James.
