Sagna and the Verminator put up the best performances in that match that we’d all like to forget in a hurry, however, to say we were the better team at any point in the match is a little patronising.
The boys were tired, you can’t blame them; two tough matches plus the travelling to Dortmund ( no matter how close you think Germany is to England) is bound to take its toll on any human body. It showed in their performance, and if you’re truthful to yourself, you’ll agree that they could have beat us by more than a goal. The gods were benevolent.
I’m looking forward to Southampton with the hope that we’ll have a rested team and some extra legs in the persons of Podolski and Sir Theodore Walcott 😉

The Boss aka the Duke of Ashburton answered a few questions on Twitter yesterday. One question asked was if he picked Arsenal because it rhymed with his name – Arsene? The Boss answered in the negative saying that Arsenal chose him and it has been a 17 year love story… who knew he was such a romantic?

Ozil showed off Germany’s world cup kit by Adidas. it’s been said that he’s down with the flu and would not be travelling to Germany, he and BFG aka Per Mert. Other than that, they rest of the news borders on transfer rumours that you wouldn’t care much about until January knocks.
