So good morning to everyone…or is it afternoon…or dusk…these things confuse me.
We’re right smack in the middle of another interlull. On the bright side, this is the last one for the year, so between now and the new year we don’t have to worry about this international nonsense.
On an Arsenal point of view, there’s nothing happening and in a bid to force something to happen, the tabloids have taken to reporting that Mesut Ozil wants to leave Arsenal in January and that Bayern Munich and Man City are interested. I’d put up a link, but frankly i think it’s useless drivel and since it’s clicks they’re trying to generate, i’d much rather not help them reach their target. Ozil won’t go anywhere in January, he’ll be here for a while yet that much i’m sure.
On to more realistic news, Apparently Wilshere played really well yesterday for England and i guess that bodes well for us. Szczesney was also in goal when the Polish beat reigning world champions Germany.
So erm….i dunno. The English boys will be back by now so we can go about wrapping them in cotton wool so that they’re safe for our game against Hull city.
Alexis seems to be fine seeing as we haven’t heard of him being mauled by a mountain lion after trying to dribble the carnivore twice in front of the Lion’s watching family who were cheering Alexis and laughing at the mountain lion. So naturally the mountain lion will get angry and maul Alexis…but i kid…or do i?
No news is good news i guess. Mert is back home with the kids so we know he won’t get injured…unless one of his kids decides to practice uncle Lukas’ terrible left footed shots and one of them hits Mert right in the balls or something…
I guess that’s the low down on everyone. Let’s hope they all survive till Saturday and beyond. We have a relatively kind fixture list that we can manage. I reckon if we can get 32 points in our next 12 games we could be second by new year (maybe. it’s all conjecture) easier said than done of course, but we certainly have the team to do it.
Anyways fingers crossed. See you all later
