He makes runs, and he gets frustrated when midfielders don’t find him.
“But he does it consistently throughout the game, he will make three or four runs a half that are crying out for a ball to be put in behind.
“Defences in the Premier League will hate that. As a centre-back, the last thing you want is a quick player who runs behind, and he does that.”[/su_quote]
Jack Wilshere in his interview with Sky Sports spoke about his former teammate Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. As you can glean from the quote above, Aubameyang is a thorn in the side of defenders according to Wilshere. Unfortunately, the Arsenal striker failed to find the net against Wilshere’s current team -West Ham United – last Saturday.
The striker has had two sub-par games, and he should be itching to find the net against Chelsea. I mentioned in my last article that, Manchester United were on a high and were likely to beat Tottenham. Well, it happened, and we’re left with a game we most likely will lose if we continue playing the way we’ve been for the past 5 or so games.
Many fans have voiced their feelings in the days following our loss to West Ham. This is a game we should have won. What could possibly be the problem? Is it the players? Or is it the coach? Things seem to be a little bit Wenger-esque these days.
