Now I totally understand that we are more focused on players coming in than leaving or players leaving to make space for players coming in.
So news of a player staying to fight for his place may not be fun for a lot of Arsenal fans as the news is blowing up with rumors of Benzema, Gotze and….that Sevilla guy (i’d check for the name, but…)
So news is that Joel Campbell wants to stay and isn’t thinking of leaving the club according to Argentine daily La Nacion. It is believed that Arsene might want to loan him again with approaches from Palermo and Real Sociedad rebuffed.
We went through a lot to get him but it doesn’t seem he’s going to be staying with us long term, but you can never say never, just look at what happened to Coquelin.
Our belief here is that he’s just saying the polite stuff so as not to draw more attention as we feel he’ll move, now whether that is on loan or permanently remains to be seen. Whatever the case though, good luck Joel.
