Let’s leave Pepe alone. He didn’t play well and neither did any player on the pitch. Every player bar Aubameyang; and maybe Saka.
Everyone shitting on Pepe:
Emery’s system is the problem. Look what he does to Mesut Ozil. I can’t judge an attacking player in this system harshly. Need to see what they can do on a football team with a manager that actually tries to attack.

What kind of game is Unai asking the team to play? That’s the question we should be asking.
Football, our football is no longer beautiful. It’s clunky, disorganised and disjointed.
A club like Barcelona have always kept their ethos: free-flowing attacking football. Any manager coming will have to build his style around that.
A lot of people say our forwards failed to trackback. Did the manager ask them to? Stop blaming Pepe.
What is Xhaka still doing in that midfield? What point is Unai trying to prove?
It’s confusing.
And I’m running out of excuses for the manager.
