Ospina has mentioned that he has fully recovered from his World Cup injury and ready to compete for the number one spot with Wojciech. He also mentioned that he’s loving London and its sights, and believes the education and experience would benefit his family:
“I feel very well and already settled,” he told Arsenal.com. “At Arsenal you can really focus on your job since the club provides with anything you may need. Once settled, I am trying to make the most of this opportunity I’ve been given.
“London is great. It’s a beautiful enjoyable city in which there are many things to do. Besides, there are very good schools, which is a positive thing for my daughter. Living in London is a nice challenge for both my career and life.
He also appreciates the presence of Spaniards within the club which has helped him settle in even quicker. The likes on Santi, Arteta, Monreal and Bellerin would have made him feel right at home.
It’s good to know that there’s healthy competitions coming through, let’s hope Wenger fully utilises his options and rests those who need to be rested.
