We’ve been out and about on social media and here’s what we bumped into:
This was the first managerial meeting between two of Arsenal’s legends – Thierry Henry and Patrick Viera.
Both teams started the game on even ground, but soon, Viera’s Nice seemed hungrier and aggressive. Soon, Allan Saint-Maximin put Nice in front, but the referee rained on their parade when he sent teammate Ihsan Sacko off just before half-time.
Benoit Badiashile of Monaco made it 1-1 five minutes into the second half, and Thierry’s men tried but failed to take advantage of Nice being one man down.
Patrick Viera seems to be on top of things at Nice, with the club lying in 7th place compared to Thierry Henry’s Monaco who are battling relegation in 18th place.

And then, there was:
Well, one of our former players (and soon to be two, maybe three with the rumours) just won the Supercoppa. Wojciech Szczesny won the Supercoppa with Juventus, and soon, Aaron Ramsey would be joining him in celebrations. And maybe Özil.
Congrats Woj.
