January is around the corner, just about 8 days and some hours away. Although we hear the domestic window might not be opened till the 5th of January, clubs are already getting in the mood. Making orders, getting their shopping carts, pens and the all important cheque book or don’t they just do bank transfers or something? Anyways, all I know is that the money moves.
There’s a lot of talk about who could come in through the window and through the chimney ( a la Frank Lampard) to our beloved Arsenal this January. Hummels, Sissoko, Reid… There is so much fuss about the incoming that no one seems to give a darn about those that might go out this winter transfer period.
Crystal Palace manager, Neil Warnock has reportedly sent Wenger a mail or was it a text message?? All I know is he has made enquiries about one of our forwards, asking if he could loan him for the rest of the season. I see you thinking Podolski or maybe even Benik Afobe, lol. Hysterically, he wants Yaya Sanogo.
Yes You read it right the first time. Crystal Palace want to take Yaya Sanogo on loan till the end of the season.
Palace have made signing a striker their top priority this window and he thinks he has his man in Sanogo. He thinks Sanogo would be the man to give them the goals they so desire. Sanogo is wanted by Palace along with Stoke city forward Peter Crouch with Sanogo being the most likely to move seeing as Crouch is enjoying his time at Stoke currently and is set for a new deal.
Arsene Wenger is contemplating allowing Sanogo leave on a temporary basis to get more first team experience. The France Under-21 striker has struggled to make an impact Wenger’s first-team plans, but the manager is confident Sanogo has what it take to become an Arsenal striker.
Sanogo has scored only one goal for the Gunners and that came against Dortmund earlier this season, And did I forget he scored four in our game but that was during pre-season? Nope, didn’t.
Letting Sanogo leave would be a good idea. Giving the player some regular playing time and maybe he could find his scoring boots at Palace.
And also did you hear that Arsenal are the first club in England to get 5million twitter followers behind only Real MAdrid and Barcelona in the world. How much did we even get for that??
Am out..
