I am talking about the new EPL season.
Clubs have begun their pre-season training and Arsenal were not going to be left behind.
The team held their first training session on Tuesday, I wasn’t there to witness it but mehn! the players sure looked like they missed football and couldn’t wait to get back to show the stuff they are made of.
The likes of Jack Wilshere, Per Mertesacker and the ‘OX’ all got back to action on Tuesday afternoon as Wenger himself put the players through their paces at the London Colney training ground.
A large majority of first team returned to training as they prepare for their tour of Singapore starting with the game against a Singapore select XI on July 15.

After making a full recovery from his shoulder injury, Frenchman Mathieu Debuchy was able to take part in the training session. Brazilian winger, Wellington Silva ‘the prodigal son’ has returned home and also took part in the training. Not like it was his fault tho but ‘dem no gree give am visa since (he wasn’t given a visa until now).
The guy has had to spend the last four years on loan in Spain at Levante, Alcoyano, Ponferradina, Murcia and Almeria before he was issued a Spanish passport that could enable him play in the premier league.




There was no sign of new signing Cech who will return to training at the end of this week along with Arsenal’s other international stars.
Sanchez and Ospina have both been granted extended breaks after their Copa America participation, their absence allowed Wenger to look at the likes of Dan Crowley, Yaya Sanogo and Chuba Akpom.
Olivier Giroud has revealed he cannot wait to jet out to Singapore as it is a ‘really good experience’ to meet new fans.
The Frenchman, speaking to Arsenal’s official website, said: ‘It’s always a pleasure and a really good experience because you can see the fans are crazy all over the world.
‘They support the team until they die and they are fantastic. A proper fan has to learn all the Arsenal songs so it’s nice to hear them singing our songs and the way they are singing is even more surprising because they sing with their heart.
‘I remember when we landed in Vietnam very early in the morning but there were 2,000 people who were waiting for us and cheering us on. It was a great feeling and it makes you want to produce even better performances when you get onto the pitch.’
Also part of the training were Gabriel, Bellerin, Flamini, Coquelin and Monreal.
