Good day fellow gooners.
Let me first congratulate us all for the win yesterday. It was a good game and somewhere in England, one Newcastle player was watching the game and thinking to himself ‘this is the team I would love to play for.
Wenger please come and sign me’.
His name is Moussa Sissoko.
How do I know he thought that to himself??? Well, I was on his couch and we watched the game together.
Okay, that a lie. Lol
The truth though is the fact that Sissoko has been talking about Us a lot in the past weeks from when he said Arsenal were his boyhood club and he has been supporting Arsenal since he was a kid to his most recent comments which I would show you later on.
Sissoko for one is a player I would love us to get but we all know Wenger. He does not do any January business till very late in the window, the last days.
He just trolls all of us and waits till February 2nd the last day of the window, then by 11:30 he calls the club and tells them the player he wants and they negotiate till 11:50 and then race to complete the paper work before the window closes at midnight.
And boom, we all wake up to hear we have signed a player.
Sadly, It would be one player from an unknown place. Wenger is the master of this though.
Anyways back to my Sissoko guy, so when we were chatting yesterday while seeing the game at his place. He said to me how he would love to play for Arsenal one day and he would dive to sign a contract this January should Wenger offer him one.
I lied again. Lol
But in his comments he said he would talk if Wenger wants him and he declared Arsenal as the club of his heart.
The France international has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium this month, having impressed in the Premier League since arriving from Toulouse two years ago.
And the 25-year-old revealed he has ambitions to achieve more in his career, including winning the Champions League
Enough of the comments, let me show them to you.
‘I remain focused on Newcastle,’ he said in an interview with Telefoot. ‘If something should happen, it will happen.
‘England remains my priority. If (Arsenal boss) Arsene Wenger calls me? We will have a discussion man to man. Arsenal has always been the club of my heart.‘
Sissoko, who has 27 caps for France, said his dream was to play for a ‘big club’.
He added: ‘I would love to win the Euros (in 2016) with France and the Champions League too. I want to continue to go further and higher.’
Did he just stylishly say Newcastle are not a big club?
So there, that’s all he said. A few comments but with loads of meaning in there.
Over to you Wenger, make the move.
