I know when you hear this, what readily comes to mind is Arsenal’s failure to win trophies over the past few years but I put it to you that the struggles of an Arsenal fan surpasses that and goes way beyond.
There are so many areas to touch but I’ll just touch on the few I can for now.
The cobwebs in our trophy cabinet which have been removed temporarily by the FA Cup trophy and Community Shield plate we won is obviously one of the most recognized struggles of an Arsenal fan, so am gonna start with that.
God bless Ramsey for that FA Cup winner and the whole team for getting to the final and winning it. I mean, what would we have done if Hull had won us that faithful day? #JumpOfaBridge
Lets see possible tragedies that could have befallen us:-

- A lot of people would have lost their online sports betting wagers.
- Many tears obviously.
- Disgruntled fans, not like we are all happy with the team now though.
- Some people might have died, who knows.
- Wenger would maybe have resigned by now but I know some of you would have been happy about that.

And a whole number of other things I cannot mention right now. All that was rescued by that right footed goal by Ramsey deep into the game.
Finally! Finally!! Finally!!!
Arsenal had won a trophy, you could see the joy everywhere. The players, The backroom staff, Wenger himself and the fans of this great club.
I don’t know about you but I barely wanted to watch that game because of our record of losing finals in the years past. I mean, we had been everywhere, name it. The Champions League final, The Carling Cup final, we had led the Premiership till about March and still finished fourth!
With all these in mind, I’m sure a lot of Arsenal fans like me had prepared for the worst on that glorious day with the defeat to Birmingham in 2012 still kinda fresh in our minds.
But we nailed it even though we went down 2-0 in the first half.
[alert style=”1″]I was talking to a Manchester United fan sometime last season during the Moyes era and he complained and told me about how he was gonna jump ship to Real Madrid because his team was shambles.[/alert]
Wow, just Wow!
That’s all I could say.
These guys had one bad season and the dude was complaining already.
Just… Wow.(apologies, I was speechless hence all the ‘wow-ing’)
Then I told him I was an Arsenal fan and he went all ”at least you guys are doing well this season, you are in the top 4”.
This guy did not get it, top 4 had become our birthright or better put, finishing fourth. I personally feel if Arsenal should finish below 4th one season that the FA would make up one rule to make Arsenal 4th, lol.
It takes guts to be an Arsenal fan. Yes, I see you nodding in agreement to that. That’s why you rarely hear of a die-hard Arsenal fan leaving to support another team. We always stay.
I know Arsenal can be a top top team and it’s only a matter of time before that happens. Just a few more pieces of the puzzle and it would be él perfecto. Once a Gooner, always a Gooner.
