Hey People! It’s a new month.
Happy new month, Happy September.
The transfer window goes shut in approximately 12 hours 30 minutes from now.
Flipping through the pages this morning and its sad to know our beloved club isn’t in for anyone, at least not that we know of. I literally stayed up all night and did a lot of in-depth search but in the end came up with nothing substantial.
As usual though, all I found was an array of rumours. How we are in for Cavani and Verrati and Rabiot and Messi and Gotze and the list goes on and on. Y’all know the drill
As I write this though, I remain optimistic that we would get in at least one player before the window shuts. I mean aren’t we the masters of deadline day business??
Aren’t we the masters of beating the window and getting those players in last minute?? Hell yeah, we are!
At our last game against Newcastle, the stats showed that 83% of our team were signed on transfer deadline day. Such an amazing stat that is.
As long as the Prof remains in charge, like it or not, you can expect at least one player to come in on deadline day, even if its one bloke from the Faroe Islands.
The issue now is who we would sign.
Our team still looks short and its clear for everyone to see. We are up there in the league with chances created this season and yet have a certain unknown striker named ‘own-goal’ to thank for a bulk of our goals this season.
Looking at it, we have scored 3 goals this season, own goal has 2 while Giroud has one. That doesn’t speak well for a team like Arsenal to me.
The signs are clear now, Benzema aint coming to London. So who next??

This is the thing that annoys me about Arsenal transfers, we all don’t hear sh*t till it happens which in a way is a very good thing. Being that today is the first day of a new month, I really just want to remain optimistic and believe that one way or the other we are going to get someone in or should I say some people. Whatever!!
Like everyone out there, I just want the window to close, if for nothing just so all these rumours can go away and then face the football squarely.
Sadly no Premier League football in a while thanks to the international break. We’ll deal with that.
So as we wind down to the final hours of the transfer window, remain positive and expect a surprise from the Emirates.
I’ll be back with some good news later in the day, hopefully. See you then.
Do have a nice day and nice month as a whole.
