Good morning and welcome to another awesome weekend of our beloved Premier League.
For the records this post was supposed to get to y’all yesterday but thanks to the fact that I spent my whole day trying to get fuel, it couldn’t, not like that’s any of your business tho, bla bla bla………
Sorry about that but then, it’s better late than never yh??
Not like am saying this is late sha………
Anyways over to the football talk.
While the world is going bonkers because ’The Special One’ was relieved of his duties, they seem to forget that we play City on Monday in a potential title decider.
Speaking about ‘The Special One’, I was very sad when I heard the story. Okay, that’s a lie, part of me was excited to hear that the arrogant, proud, loud mouthed man had lost his job.
On the contrary, I wished he had remained in the job to see how he would have brought them out of this mess.
I mean, it got to a stage I was truly feeling bad for him, the once very loud Mou had become quiet, you could even say humble. He had no idea what was going on, I guess that defeat to Leicester was just the last straw in the haystack*if that makes any sense. lol*
Good luck to their new manager tho, let’s see what magic that one works, maybe then we’ll know if Eva’s curse was just on Mourinho alone or the club as a whole.
That’s that about that.
We don’t play City till Monday and as much as I don’t like that, I feel it’s a good thing.
For starters, it gives the players more time to rest, the team more time to prepare and for some more time to recuperate.
One who easily comes to mind is Alexis Sanchez, yes he is back in the team and as at Wednesday he was already doing some light running*yaaay, whoop whoop*
Come Monday, Wenger would have that ‘’to put Sanchez in the team or not’’ decision to make and trust me, that’s one hell of a decision.
Knowing the kind of person Alexis is, he’ll prolly say he is fit and ready to play even if he might not be 100% yet.
The guy just always wants to play and boy is that a good thing.
Seeing as by Wednesday he was just doing light running, we could say by Sunday he should be back training with the team.
Good news yeah?
I am not Wenger but if I were in his shoes, there is a chance I could put Sanchez in the squad but not in the starting team, depending on how the game goes he might get some 5-10 mins to show us how fit he is.
Sadly I am not Wenger.
My gumption tells me ‘The Prof’ knows what he wants to do with Sanchez already and we can only wait till Monday to see what his decision would be.
So come on, enjoy the games today and tomorrow with me while we wait for ours on Monday.
See you later.
Do have a fabulous day.
Ciao.
