Okay, not everyone. Let me rephrase that; hello Gunners!
The newspaper rounds are back, and it’s a place we give Gunners non-Arsenal news with a view on how it affects…you guessed well, Arsenal.
Raheem Sterling has been asked to pack his bags and get his behind to tour with his Liverpool mates according to The Sun:
You see, as much as I would have liked another Walcott-esque player at our club, Sterling’s leaving a lot to be desired as per his behaviour. Let’s not be hoodwinked by the fact that Liverpool are playing hardball, it’s business; you buy low and if the ‘goods’ in question have not fully amortized (fully deteriorated), you’ll want to get as much as you can for it.
Sterling should behave until the deal to Manchester City is done, because the way I see it, he might end up eating the humble pie. I wouldn’t want this kind of behaviour at our club. I mean, he’s leaving a lot to be desired.
Meanwhile, Manchester City are preparing a third bid for
Donald Raheem Sterling according to Express.:
Now the moneybags flex their financial muscles. You kind of wonder the talent glut they’ll be having over there at Citeh. Like we don’t have ours …but still, I don’t care, call me hypocritical, whatever.
I still think Raheem is overpriced and isn’t worth £50m+; to each his own. Sure Gunners would have publicly disowned Wenger if he spent that much on Raheem when we were thought to be in for him.
Still, the Raheem Sterling related news never ends…*rolls eyes* Saido Berahino dumps Aidy Ward aka his agent according to the Daily Mail.:
You start to wonder though the complex web of parties involved in the transfer of a player from one club to another. And the ripple effects, this time in the sacking of Ward who also is Sterling’s agent.
The power of agents to twist the player, twist the news, twist the club…it’s an endless web of sh*ttery. This makes you wonder the role agents had in the transfer or van Purse-strings, Nasri, Adebayor and all the annoying transfer deals we had as a club. #vomit-erry
Slaven Bilic intends to bring in more recruits before the start of the season. This will be in addition to Dimitri Payet , Obiang, Randolph and Jenkinson.
I really need to get to work before the boss catches me faffing about.
