West Ham have pulled off what seems to be the biggest shock of the first weekend of the BPL.
Slaven Bilic has lived up to his billing as a ‘Giant killer’ and has finally gotten that revenge for the eviction of his Besiktas team last year.
We all waited for the team to play and this is what we got.
We scorned united that they won even tho they were crap, we scorned Spuds that they were shit as always, we scorned Chelsea that they couldn’t win Swansea and in the end this was what we got.
Our supposed saviour is said to have caused us the two goals, a-la-Szczesny yh?
I see Ospina laughing on the bench rn thinking he would get a chance to perform soon.
West Ham had not recorded a win against us since 2007 but they sure did that today.
I really cant say much seeing as I was unable to watch the game but guess that’s the reason I am not as pissed as I should be.
One would expect us to have grabbed the required 3 points or at the least settled for a draw but no, we flunked, we crumbled, we LOST and to make matters worse it was on home soil.
This is def not what the fans want to see.
To think the players have all being saying we need to start strong and all that during the off season and then the season starts and we get this????
I really just wish we haven’t scored all our goals in pre-season ‘cos mehn, we sure were firing on all cylinders then.
I am not all that angry as I should for one simple reason which I would let you in on now.
With the way pre-season went, I am sure ‘the Prof’ was already satisfied with the team and thought we were ready but this defeat here just shows we aint all that ready just yet.
Looking on the bright side, this defeat just brought the team back down to earth and reminded them that there was still some work to do.
After that Chelsea win, we were all in high spirits. I even wrote earlier on saying if we could do without him then, we would be beastly when he return but this is what we got.
A defeat to West ham at the emirates stadium on the first day of the season courtesy of two goals which we could say Cech had a hand in.
Look at the bright side people, defeat today was the best thing that could have happened to us in my opinion tho…
Maybe this is the match that would make Wenger delve back into the transfer market and get those additional signings we all are clamouring for.
So look on the bright side and do have an Awesome Week.
