As much I am still pissed at that Mike Dean man and feel he should never ref a game of football again let alone ref an Arsenal game, I just have to move on from that defeat.
In what might not come as a surprise to anyone of us, the FA have decided not to punish the man for missing out on the Costa incidents and so he would be in charge of the West Ham vs Norwich game this weekend.
Amazing yh?? They say the dude is one of the top referees in England, I really didn’t see any top refereeing there on Saturday.
In other news though, the trigger happy FA have decided to take out time to watch our game again and see what exactly happened. They have meted out charges on Diego Costa and Gabriel Paulista.
They also charged both teams for failing to control their players.
I wonder why Arsenal are being charged though, ‘cos IMO our players were in control maybe except Paulista.
Anyways, let’s go to the incident a lil.
I for one feel that Koscielny understood what Costa was trying to do and did his best to not get involved in any of the Strikers antics but then maybe if he had fallen down after Costa elbowed, slapped him and tossed him around like a little boy, the Ref might have noticed something was happening there.
Not like the Ref didn’t notice though, he prolly just felt Kos was a strong man who could handle himself and since he didn’t fall, he was fine. Hilarious school of thought.
And then there was one who did not like his friend/team-mate being bullied and tossed around, and had to step in and face the bully. Trust me he did a really good job until the bully decided it was time to report to the teacher.
I mean what sort of a bully reports to the teacher??
Thanks to the Costa effect tho, Paulista might be facing 3 games as might be Costa too.
With the FA Charges, both teams have till Thursday to make their appeals before the final judgement is meted out.
Do have an amazing day.
